North Shore Hand Therapy is a private physiotherapy and occupational therapy practice focusing on the treatment of finger, hand, wrist and elbow conditions.

Our highly experienced team of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapists deal exclusively with conditions of the hand, wrist and upper limb. This also include the provision of splints, casts and assistive devices.

North Shore hand Therapy is closely associated with a Sydney Hand Surgery Associates. We also encourage referrals from GP’s, Rheumatologists, other medical specialties and also accept self-referrals with private patients without a referral.

Our practice is located in the private consulting rooms within North Shore Private Hospital which offers easy access to buses, trains and parking. Consultations are generally available Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm, by appointment. North Shore hand Therapy offers HICAPS for immediate private health rebates, & will comply with WorkCover guidelines for patients injured at work.

Your rebate through Private Health Insurance can be claimed at the time of your consultation via HiCaps if you are covered for Physiotherapy of Occupational Therapy.

A referral is not needed unless the treatment is to be covered by Worker’s Compensation Insurance, Compulsory Third Party Insurance, the Department of Veterans Affairs or Medicare under the Enhanced Primary Care scheme for chronic conditions.

Consultations vary in length depending on the condition being treated, but it is wise to allow an hour for your first visit.
