North Shore, Bondi Junction and Randwick Hand Therapy is a private Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy practice that treats finger, hand, wrist and elbow conditions.
Our highly experienced team of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapists deal exclusively with hand, wrist and upper limb conditions. This also includes the provision of splints, casts and assistive devices.
We encourage referrals from all Hand Surgeons, GPs, rheumatologists, and other medical specialties, and we also accept self-referrals with private patients without a referral.
We have three locations; On the North Side, our practice is located in the private consulting rooms within North Shore Private Hospital and on the East Side, our practices are either a short walk from Westfield Bondi Junction or in the centre of Randwick.
Consultations are (generally) available Monday to Friday 8.30 am-5 pm, by appointment. Both locations offer HICAPS for immediate private health rebates & will comply with WorkCover guidelines for patients injured at work.
Your rebate through Private Health Insurance can be claimed at the time of your consultation via HiCaps if you are covered for Physiotherapy of Occupational Therapy.
A referral is not needed unless the treatment is to be covered by Worker’s Compensation Insurance, Compulsory Third Party Insurance, the Department of Veterans Affairs or Medicare under the Enhanced Primary Care scheme for chronic conditions.
Consultations vary in length depending on the condition being treated, but it is wise to allow an hour for your first visit.
