Susan graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 1984 & soon after commenced working in the field of Hand Therapy.
She spent many years as Therapist in-charge of the Hand & Microsurgery Unit at RNSH before establishing North Shore Hand Therapy as a private practice in 1992.
Susan is an Accredited Hand Therapist & is actively involved with the Australian Hand Therapy Association, she is currently one of the State Co-ordinators responsible for the ongoing education & professional support for hand therapists in NSW
Clancy Kemety
Senior Physiotherapist
Advanced Practitioner of Hand Therapy
Clancy is a certified Hand Therapist (USA), an Accredited Hand Therapist (MAHTA) and a Qualified Physiotherapist (USYD). She is also a State coordinator for the Australian Hand Therapy association.
Prior to North Shore Hand Therapy, she worked at North Shore Public Hospital where she completed the Physiotherapy Hand Training Programme(1999). Clancy has also worked in the children’s hospital at Westmead.
In her spare time Clancy enjoys the gym, yoga, skiing, traveling, gardening, golf and negotiating life with three young adult children.
Joanna Davis

Practitioner of Hand Therapy
Joanna graduated from The University of Southampton in the UK with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Physiotherapy in 1998. She worked in a large burns and plastics hospital in Salisbury and quickly became involved in the treatment of Hand Therapy patients. Joanna moved to Australia in 2002 and has been working here as a hand therapist ever since.
Joanna is a Certified Hand Therapist as awarded by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission and is also an Accredited Hand Therapist as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association.
Victoria Tricardos

Practitioner of Hand Therapy
Victoria graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 2001. She began working in Hand Therapy in 2002 in a Public Hospital and has worked in a busy Public Hospital Hand Centre in South Western Sydney as a Senior Hand Therapist and Team Leader. She joined the team at North Shore Hand Therapy in 2017.
Victoria became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2007 and is an Accredited Hand Therapist. She is actively involved with the Australian Hand Therapy Association and is currently teaching the Introduction To Hand Therapy Course for the AHTA. Victoria enjoys all aspects of hand therapy practice and finds hand trauma particularly interesting and rewarding.
In her spare time Victoria enjoys time with her young daughter, walking and traveling.
Katie Shipp
Senior Physiotherapist
Practitioner of Hand Therapy
Katie graduated from The Australian Catholic University, with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) in 2014. She worked at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) as a graduate and rotating physiotherapist, gaining experience in the Hand & Peripheral Nerve Surgery Unit. Katie subsequently completed the RNSH Hand Fellowship in 2018, before joining North Shore Hand Therapy.
Katie became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2020 and is also an Accredited Hand Therapist as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association.
Allegra Barnes

Practitioner of Hand Therapy
Allegra graduated from the University of Sydney in 2015 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) Honours. As a new graduate physiotherapist Allegra worked at the Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) and then in a rotating position where she gained experience working in the Hand and Peripheral Nerve Surgery Unit.
Allegra has been working at North Shore Hand Therapy since 2020 and continues to work at RNSH one day a week in the outpatient Orthopaedic and Hand Clinics.
Allegra is a Certified Hand Therapist as awarded by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission and is also an Accredited Hand Therapist as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association.
Carol Chow

Carol graduated from The University of Sydney with a Master of Physiotherapy in 2012. She began working in Hand therapy in 2017 at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Hand Unit. She has since worked at several public hospital hand clinics as Senior Hand therapist. She joined North Shore Hand Therapy in 2021.
Carol is a Certified Hand Therapist as awarded by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission and is also an Accredited Hand Therapist as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association.
Rachel Kelly
Occupational Therapist
Practitioner of Hand Therapy
Rachel graduated from the National University of Ireland Galway with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2018. She worked in Ireland as an Occupational Therapist for 4 years before moving to Australia.
Prior
to North Shore Hand Therapy she worked in the National Orthopaedic Hospital
Cappagh in Dublin where her main areas of work included inpatient orthopaedics,
pre-assessment clinic for elective orthopaedic surgery, paediatric limb
reconstruction, and hand therapy.
Yoke Low
Senior Physiotherapist
Practitioner of Hand Therapy
Yoke graduated from the University of South Australia in Bsc in Physiotherapy in 1994. She continued her education in Master in Physiotherapy at the same university in 1998 specialising in Sports Physiotherapy. In 2002 she managed to fulfill the criteria needed to become a titled Sport Physiotherapist given by the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
She has been mainly working for a long time in musculoskeletal and sports injuries in private practices before specialising in Hand Therapy. She became an Accredited Hand Therapist as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association in 2017. She had worked 3 years full time as a Hand Therapist in Auckland and became a Registered Hand Therapist (New Zealand) in 2019.
She is still very passionate about sports and a real soccer mum training her teenage son.

Tanya joined our team at the beginning of this year in 2023. She has sound experience of customer service and administration for many years in the medical field.
In addition to daily reception duties, Tanya plays a critical role in ensuring all administrative systems run efficiently and effectively. Tanya is very prompt with all replies via email and phone and she provides invaluable key support to all members of the North Shore Hand Therapy team.
